“Precise Electrochemical Machining: A Non-Contact Approach to Superior Surface Integrity”

CTO Nikolas Becker will introduce PECM as a contact-free finishing process that preserves the original structure and integrity of materials. Unlike conventional methods such as EDM, PECM avoids thermal and mechanical stress, microstructural changes, and contamination from foreign elements.

Using detailed SEM imaging comparisons, the talk highlights the process advantages across a range of materials:

• Steels

• Inconel

• Molybdenum

• Cemented carbide

• Titanium alloys

The session offers insights into the fundamentals of PECM and its potential for high-end manufacturing applications.

Didier Gony will be present at the booth to answer questions and discuss individual manufacturing needs.
